Kevin Nisbet has a good scoring record with both Raith Rovers and Dunfermline
Hibernian have completed a trio of signings after bringing in Dunfermline striker Kevin Nisbet, winger Drey Wright and midfielder Alex Gogic.
The 23-year-old Nisbet has agreed a four-year contract, while Wright, two years older, has a two-year deal after exiting St Johnstone.
Hibs say both rejected other offers to join the Scottish Premiership club.
And Gogic, 26, also joins on a two-year deal after his three-and-a-half years at Hamilton ended last season.
"I had opportunities to go and play elsewhere throughout Europe, but I love the game in Scotland and I know already what a big club this is," Gogic told the Hibernian website, external.
Head coach Jack Ross pointed out he had failed in a bid to sign Nisbet in January, with Hibs and Dunfermline now reaching a fee for his services, while Wright provides "another option" in wider areas.
A new striker was a priority with the future of Florian Kamberi, who was on loan to Rangers last season, still to be decided.
Nisbet scored 23 goals in 32 appearances for Championship side Dunfermline after arriving from Raith Rovers.
"I'm excited by it," Ross told his club website. "It's a position that we wanted to strengthen in and, if you look at his profile, and where he is in his career, then I think it's a really good fit for both parties."
Wright, who joined St Johnstone from Colchester United in summer 2018, had been training with the Edinburgh club for two weeks after rejecting the Perth club's offer of a new contract.
Nisbet began his career with Partick Thistle and, after a loan spell with Dumbarton, joined Rovers in July 2018 before going on to score 34 times in 46 games in his one season with the Kirkcaldy side.
Expressing pride to be a Hibs player, he said: "It's a new challenge for me and I'm confident - with the help of the staff here - that I can continue to improve as a player and help the team.
"I've been working hard on my fitness during the break and I can't wait to get going."
The signings come after Hibs chairman Ron Gordon said last month that the club would be bringing in players despite the need to cut costs.
The Easter Road outfit have consulted players and staff over wage reductions, with salary deferrals already in place.
