David Turnbull: Celtic sign Motherwell midfielder in deal that could reach £3.25m

Celtic have signed David Turnbull from Motherwell in a deal that could be worth £3.25m - 14 months after a previous move for the player collapsed.
Turnbull has signed a four-year deal, with Motherwell receiving a record fee, with potential add-ons to come.
The 21-year-old's transfer was halted in June 2019 after a medical indicated he required knee surgery.
He played only twice last term on his return but has featured in Motherwell's opening five games of the season.
Turnbull has made 41 appearances since coming through the Fir Park youth system, scoring 16 goals, including one this season against Livingston.
"I'm absolutely delighted to be here, especially after what happened last year, and I'm ready to hit the ground running," Turnbull said. "I feel I've started well this season and I want to carry that on."
Motherwell say the undisclosed fee "vastly exceeds" the club's previous record sale of Phil O'Donnell - also to Celtic - of £1.75m in 1994.
"It is obviously sore to lose a player of his quality," said manager Stephen Robinson.
"But that is the model at Motherwell. We develop players to go on to a higher level and he is another success story."
'He's a top talent' - analysis
Former Motherwell forward James McFadden
He was a £3m player a year ago and I think it was a case of waiting to see how he recovered - and he's recovered remarkably. He's worked really hard, he's level-headed, has a brilliant mentality and is a top talent.
I speak about him every time I see him playing. He's so adaptable and can play anywhere in midfield. If he gets in front of goal, very rarely if ever, will you see him snatch at it. I think he'll step up again.
