Liverpool were the first reigning champions to win away at Chelsea in the Premier League since Manchester United in April 2002

Liverpool forward Sadio Mane was rated man of the match following his two goals in the victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.

Nine Liverpool players received a rating above seven - including debutant Thiago Alcantara, who replaced the injured Jordan Henderson at half time.

Chelsea's new signing Timo Werner was given the highest rating for the hosts but he was one of just two Blues players with a score above five out of 10.

Goalkeeper Kepa Arrizabalaga, who made a mistake in the build-up to Mane's second goal, was given the lowest score in the match.

Here are the ratings in full.
