Kyle Magennis: Hibernian sign midfielder on five-year deal from St Mirren

Hibernian have completed the signing of midfielder Kyle Magennis from Scottish Premiership rivals St Mirren on a five-year contract for an undisclosed fee.
The 22-year-old, who was St Mirren's captain, is recovering from a cruciate ligament injury sustained in January.
St Mirren rejected an initial offer and say they "reluctantly" agreed to sell after the player asked to leave.
The club added they had offered Magennis a new four-year deal on improved terms to stay in Paisley.
"If there is a profile of the kind of player we are looking to bring to the club to add to the group then Kyle fits it," Hibernian head coach Jack Ross said.
"He is young, hungry, can play in a number of positions and has plenty room for improvement."
Hibs say the Scotland Under-21 international is in contention for a squad place for Wednesday's League Cup tie with Brora Rangers.
Magennis was in the last year of his St Mirren contract having come through the Paisley club's youth ranks and debuting in 2016 when Ross was in charge.
The midfielder said: "Everyone knows what St Mirren means to me as a club - in terms of giving me an opportunity to begin with and my overall development - but this was a challenge that excited me and that I really wanted to take on."
