Kwame Thomas scored his first goal for Wrexham having joined on a one-year contract in August.

Wrexham returned to winning ways in the National League with a first ever victory at Yeovil, who remain without a win.

Kwame Thomas slid in at the far post to net Reece Hall-Johnson's cross to give Wrexham an early lead at Huish Park.

Charlie Lee twice headed over the bar late in the game while Rhys Murphy came close to equalising in stoppage time.

Yeovil are down to 16th in the table while Wrexham are eighth following a first away win of the season.

Wrexham manager Dean Keates said:

"To come away from home to somebody who I have no doubt will be up there challenging at the end of the season and to know they've only had one shot from 25 yards out, can't be any morwe happier than that.

"Full credit to my boys, they certainly got counted and they showed the ugly side what we showed last week against Boreham Wood and the clinical side.

"Great result and great performance."
