Shrewsbury Town: Midfielder Jan Zamburek and defender Matt Millar join

Jan Zamburek has made 22 senior appearances for Brentford, with two of those coming this season

Shrewsbury Town have signed Brentford midfielder Jan Zamburek on a season-long loan and defender Matt Millar from A-League club Newcastle Jets.

Zamburek, 19, began his career with Czech Republic side Slavia Prague before moving to the Bees in 2018.

Millar, 24, joins on a short-term deal until January, with the option to make the move permanent after that.

The former South Melbourne and Central Coast Mariners player scored four times in 24 A-League appearances last season.
