Crawley Town 4-0 Tranmere Rovers

Crawley Town moved to within two points of the League Two play-off places by thrashing Tranmere Rovers - their fourth win of the season.

Three goals in 11 first-half minutes put the hosts 3-0 up at the break, as Max Watters smashed home after Jack Powell worked an opening, Jake Hesketh teed up Tom Nicholls to find the corner and Jordan Tunnicliffe bundled in after Rovers failed to clear.

Tranmere, who failed to register a shot on target throughout, held out for much of the second period with goalkeeper Scott Davies foiling Sam Matthews' curling effort.

The home side struck again late on, when substitute Tyler Frost coolly slotted into the bottom corner for number four in a convincing win.

Rovers have now lost four matches on their return to League Two after relegation.
