FA Cup: Bolton Wanderers 2-3 Crewe highlights

Charlie Kirk headed League One side Crewe into the FA Cup second round, ending a run of three defeats with victory over League Two hosts Bolton 3-2 at the University of Bolton Stadium.

Kirk scored with 15 minutes remaining to give the Alex a two-goal cushion, a crucial header given Nathan Delfouneso netted Bolton's second three minutes later to set up a nervy finish.

Oliver Finney had restored Crewe's lead after Delfouneso had cancelled out Mikael Mandron's opener.

It is the second season in succession that the Trotters have failed to go beyond the first round, while David Artell's Railwaymen progress for the second year in a row.
