Scotland need a win in Israel on Wednesday to be sure of top spot in Nations League Group B2.

Manager Steve Clarke made eight changes for Sunday's 1-0 defeat in Slovakia, so does he simply bring back the heroes from Belgrade?

We asked you to choose your line-up to face Israel, and you answered in your thousands.

No surprises between the sticks, as David Marshall is the firm favourite to reclaim his place after Craig Gordon deputised in Trnava. The Derby County goalkeeper earned 91% of the vote, which was comfortably the strongest mandate of any player to start Wednesdays game. We wonder why...

The chosen formation among most of you is 3-5-2, with a familiar trio at the back. Scott McTominay, Declan Gallagher and Kieran Tierney all started in Belgrade last week, and you have called upon them once again.

In midfield, the majority of you opted for the 'if it ain't broke, don't fix it' approach. Ryan Jack, John McGinn and Callum McGregor are the three you have selected. Only John McGinn started at the weekend, so McGregor and Jack should be suitably fresh for this one.

The forward spots are slightly more tricky, as you appear to have voted for Lyndon Dykes to start in both slots. We don't blame you, but we can't see Steve Clarke opting to start the game with just 10 men. It was fairly close, but Ryan Christie is the most popular selection to partner Dykes, after the Celtic man's goal in Belgrade set Scotland on their way to a first major international tournament since 1998.

We're not bored of saying that yet.

If Clarke does take your advice, that would be eight changes from the side that lost to Slovakia, with McGinn, Christie and Tierney the survivors. That doesn't sound too unreasonable, but we'll find out in the next few hours.
