Dundee's Jordan McGhee netted a late equaliser in a thrilling finish to deny Inverness Caledonian Thistle a third straight Scottish Championship win.

The Dens Park side led at half-time after Liam Fontaine had followed up to convert at a Charlie Adam corner that was headed off the post by McGhee.

But Robbie Deas smashed into the top corner before James Keatings' close-range finish had the hosts in front.

Osman Sow then teed up McGhee to fire home with eight minutes left.

The stalemate leaves Inverness fifth, with Dundee two points further back in seventh as their promotion bid continues to stall.

Inverness CT manager John Robertson: "I'm very disappointed. Their goalkeeper Jack Hamilton's had seven or eight great saves and we missed two sitters. We got ourselves in front and then a lack of communication has cost a second goal."

Dundee manager James McPake: "Their second goal was clearly offside. I'm proud of my players but gutted for them as it should be three points. You always need to battle when you come up here - we handled that side of things really well and gave as good as we got."
