Football Association of Wales officials will meet next week to discuss the season structure after confirming the Cymru Premier remains on hold.

There were no changes to Wales' coronavirus Alert Level 4 following the latest review by the Welsh Government.

The FAW has postponed all remaining phase one games in Wales' top-flight.

Board meetings with the relevant bodies will now take place to determine how all competitions can be concluded if and when restrictions are lifted.

That will include proposals for this year's Welsh Women's Premier League, the Welsh Cup, Nathaniel MG Cup and the second tier Cymru North and South leagues, as well as the third tier Ardal Leagues.

The league has been mothballed since 22 December, along with the North and South divisions, the Welsh Premier Women's League and all non-professional and non-elite football in Wales.

Although the Cymru Premier does have some professional sides, the decision was taken in December to put a hold on all fixtures with the league saying it "fully takes into the current public health crisis".

With no change to the status, fixtures have again been postponed, although not cancelled.

The Cymru Premier is split into two phases, with the league split after phase one. Last year's title and relegation were decided on a points-per-game basis after football's suspension in March, with Connah's Quay Nomads declared winners.

Former champions The New Saints currently lead the table having played 17 of their 22 phase one fixtures.

Cardiff Met lead the Welsh Women's Premier League after five games played

The two second tier leagues had been due to restart in January before the latest lockdown having not begun their campaigns, while only some of the first round fixtures of the Nathaniel MG Cup have been completed.
