Salford City co-owner Gary Neville has offered to refund Cambridge United, external after Tuesday's scheduled League Two match was postponed at short notice.
The fixture was called off because of a frozen pitch at the Peninsula Stadium after Cambridge had arrived.
A pre-match inspection of the surface found areas of the turf which had not sufficiently thawed.
Asked on Twitter if he would compensate the U's for the late call-off, Neville said: "We will. Already offered."
No date has yet been set for the fixture to be rescheduled.
Cold weather including snow, ice and rain also saw three of Tuesday's other League Two games at Newport, Mansfield and Barrow postponed.
