Wrexham 0-0 FC Halifax Town

Wrexham and Halifax had to settle for a point apiece in a game of few chances for either side in the National League at the Racecourse.

Luke Young and Jordan Davies both fired free-kicks over the crossbar for Wrexham while Halifax's Luke Summerfield shot wide late on against his former side.

Halifax remain sixth in the table after their first clean sheet since October.

Wrexham move up to 11th - a point off the play-off places.

Wrexham manager Dean Keates said:

"I thought it was a solid clean sheet. Defensively we looked stable. Going back to the last few games we've conceded sloppy goals in the first 20 minutes. We take the positives from that.

"Attacking third we didn't create enough. The most we had was from distance. I think it's lacking in that little bit of confidence.

"We want to be winning games, especially our home games and we didn't do enough to create opportunities to win the game in the final third."
