Wrexham threw away a 2-0 lead as Dagenham & Redbridge came from behind to claim a point in an end-to-end game.
Fiacre Kelleher and Dior Angus had gone close for Wrexham before Jamie Reckord put them ahead.
Reece Hall-Johnson doubled their lead but Matt Robinson pulled a goal back for Dagenham & Redbridge with 13 minutes remaining.
Daryl McMahon's side claimed a point in stoppage time when captain Dean Rance headed home Myles Weston's cross.
Wrexham manager Dean Keates:
"We have to look at ourselves. We're in control of the football match and should possibly be out of sight at half-time.
"In the second half we probably didn't control the match as much as we did in the first half and got pushed back a bit and they made a few changes and changed their tact.
"We've let ourselves down. Take away the decisions that have gone against us, we've made wrong decisions at vital moments."
