Wrexham 0-0 Hartlepool United
- Published
Wrexham and Hartlepool United had to settle for a point apiece after a hard fought battle in difficult conditions at the Racecourse.
Mark Shelton struck a post for the visitors during a first half in which Wrexham offered very little.
The hosts were much improved after the break with Jordan Davies having a shot deflected wide.
Hartlepool piled on the pressure late in the game but Wrexham held on for a point.
Wrexham manager Dean Keates said:
"I thought in the first half we possibly showed them too much respect and let them have too much possession.
"Our tempo was a lot better in the second half and we forced more mistakes.
"But our final pass wasn't good enough. We were a bit sloppy tonight."
