Forest Green and Colchester United have both been fined by the Football Association for "failing to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion".

Forest Green, who won the League Two match 3-0, accepted the charge and were fined £1,000 while the U's denied it and were subsequently fined £2,000.

The incident occurred in the 45th minute of the game at the New Lawn on 27 February after Rovers' Ebou Adams was sent off for a challenge on Colchester's Josh Doherty.

Forest Green later successfully appealed against the sending off and the midfielder's ban was overturned.
