Ayr United 0-3 Dundee: Second-half goals give visitors third straight win
- Published
Dundee strengthened their play-off push in the Scottish Championship with a second-half goal burst at Ayr United securing a third straight win.
After a tight opening half the opener came in 68 minutes when Max Anderson latched on to a deflected Jason Cummings' effort to fire home.
Substitute Jonathan Afolabi made it 2-0 after Paul McMullan's shot was blocked.
And Paul McGowan completed victory with a fine lob to send Dundee level on points with second-place Raith Rovers.
Ayr's third successive league game without victory leaves them just a point above second-bottom Morton and Arbroath.
