Newly crowned Scottish League 1 champions Queen's Park lost their 18-game unbeaten league record after a home loss to Stranraer.
A strike just after the half hour from former Rangers youth forward Matt Yates was enough to give the visitors a win that lifts them up to third place.
Queen's Park secured the title and promotion with Tuesday's home draw with Elgin City.
Stranraer move above Stirling Albion, a point behind Edinburgh City.
However, they have played a game more than those two and Elgin, who are five points behind Stranraer and three off Stirling in the race for three promotion play-off spots.
Stranraer will have to do without Joao Vitoria for Tuesday's visit by Elgin after the forward was sent off for violent conduct in stoppage time at Falkirk Stadium, which is Queen's Park's temporary home while Lesser Hampden is being developed.
