FC Halifax Town 0-1 Boreham Wood
- Published
Halifax's play-off hopes suffered a setback as Femi Ilesanmi's first goal of the season earned Boreham Wood a narrow National League victory.
The defender broke the stalemate after 67 minutes with an eye-catching finish across goalkeeper Sam Johnson.
The Shaymen saw their hopes of a fightback suffer a major blow when Danny Williams was dismissed for a second yellow card, and they were unable to find an equaliser.
The result left Halifax in fifth place, with both Wrexham and Notts County in close pursuit.
