Hartlepool United 2-4 Maidenhead United

  • Published

Sam Barratt scored a hat-trick as 10-man Maidenhead saw off promotion-chasing Hartlepool.

Danilo Orsi-Dadamo and Barratt netted either side of a Rhys Oates equaliser as Maidenhead led 2-1 when Ryheem Sheckleford was sent off for a poor challenge in the 42nd minute.

However, the visitors went from strength to strength as Barratt added his second and third goals within 10 minutes of the restart.

Danny Elliott grabbed a second for Pools five minutes from time, but it was little consolation.

Their first home defeat since early December kept them fourth, a point outside the automatic promotion places.
