Solihull Moors 2-0 Eastleigh

Eastleigh's National League play-off hopes ended with a 2-0 defeat at Solihull Moors.

The Hampshire side, needing a win to keep their top-seven aspirations alive, were undone by two first-half goals.

Jimmy Ball played a one-two with Kyle Hudlin before firing left-footed into the far corner from outside the penalty area for an impressive Solihull opener.

Joe Sbarra beat keeper Joe McDonnell with a low shot to double their lead and the hosts held on with few scares.

It was a 15th home win of the campaign for the Moors - the best in the league - as Eastleigh faced up to another season in the fifth tier of English football.
