Middlesbrough have signed forward Uche Ikpeazu from Wycombe Wanderers on a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee as well as defender Lee Peltier.

Ikpeazu, 26, joined the Chairboys from Scottish side Hearts last summer and scored six goals for the club, including one against Boro.

Peltier, 34, won promotion from the Championship with boss Neil Warnock whilst at Cardiff City in 2017-18.

"I've always liked Uche back to when he was at Hearts," Warnock said.

"He's keen and dedicated wherever he plays and the fans will get behind him because he's such a 100% player.

"I know what Lee can do. He's fantastic in the dressing room, and we haven't got many senior pros in there."

Prior to his time with Wycombe, Ikpeazu came through Reading's academy and later joined Watford, where he had spells on loan at Crewe, Doncaster, Port Vale and Blackpool before a successful stint at Cambridge.

Having begun his career with Liverpool, Peltier has gone on to play for Yeovil Town, Huddersfield Town, Leicester City and Leeds United before most recently spending the past 18 months with West Bromwich Albion, from whom he was released in May.
