Levi Colwill's winner in a dramatic injury-time period saw Huddersfield Town pile more misery on struggling Sheffield United.

Josh Koroma gave Huddersfield the lead with 15 minutes to play, side-footing in the loose ball after his initial shot had been saved.

Billy Sharp then thought he had earned the Blades a point in added-on time after scoring the equaliser and their first goal of the season.

But Chelsea loanee Colwill, 18, turned in a 94th-minute goal after fine work by Harry Toffolo to earn Huddersfield back-to-back victories.

The result leaves Sheffield United - who this week sold goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale to Arsenal - with just one point from their first four Championship games, following their relegation from the Premier League.

This Yorkshire derby represented an opportunity for the Blades to earn their first league win since beating Burnley in May, against a Huddersfield side who finished just outside the relegation places last season and lost 5-1 to Fulham last weekend.

But the Terriers did bounce back in midweek with a win over Preston and they soaked up early pressure at Bramall Lane. Goalkeeper Lee Nicholls was called upon three times in the last 10 minutes of the first half, saving from Rhian Brewster, Oliver Norwood and Oli McBurnie.

They gradually worked their way into the match and when Sorba Thomas set Koroma through, the 22-year-old finished the job, albeit at the second attempt, after Ramsdale's replacement Wes Foderingham had saved first time round.

Sharp, who had punched the ground in frustration when firing a volley straight at Nicholls late on, was celebrating in injury time as he pounced on McBurnie's knock down.

But Colwill, who was up from the back for a corner, had the last word, netting after Toffolo had kept the ball alive.

Sheffield United manager Slavisa Jokanovic:

"We tried really hard in the last 20 minutes and even after our goal, I thought we had enough time to win it still.

"At the end, Billy Sharp scoring was one positive but it was a really strange situation at the end of the game.

"We have tried switching from one side and did not find it an easy way to create chances but if you don't make something happen then this situation at the end can happen.

"If I say this is the best game we play and we finish with a defeat, it can sound like a joke but in general my team played a good game - but we didn't find enough moments in front of goal.

"I can understand all the criticism of myself and (the) players, but I trust in my work and my processes and I'm sure we'll be at a different level soon."

Huddersfield Town head coach Carlos Corberan told BBC Radio Leeds:

"We had a lot of resilience, keeping the intensity in all the moments. In the second half, using counter-attacks, we started to feel that we could unbalance the game.

"After the goal, we defended deep, but really well. Then after they scored their goal, we reacted very well and got ahead again.

"All the efforts of the players received one very positive reward, three points."
