Wrexham began their first full season under Hollywood owners Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney with a dramatic draw at Solihull Moors.

Impressive Joe Sbarra scored a superb opener for the hosts.

Star Wrexham summer signing Paul Mullin levelled from the spot, before veteran recruit David Jones hammered home a stunning volley to mark his return.

Sbarra saw a late effort deflected away from goal before striking to deny the visitors at the death.

Wrexham boss Phil Parkinson told BBC Radio Wales:

"It's always disappointing to concede right at the death. Was it a corner? Probably not, but we still switched off and we should have dealt with it.

"The lad's come in from the edge of the box and smashed it in, so obviously disappointing to concede late and we should really be talking about three points.

"But we'll dust ourselves down and take the point and move on to next week."
