Burton have signed Leicester's Sam Hughes, Blackburn's Harry Chapman and Sheffield United's Daniel Jebbison on loan with a permanent deal for Birmingham City's Charlie Lakin.

Striker Jebbison, 18, and centre-back Hughes, 24, have both agreed season-long moves with the Brewers.

Midfielder Chapman, 23, who scored seven goals on loan at Shrewsbury last season joins until January.

Midfielder Lakin, 22, has agreed a three-year deal for an undisclosed fee.

He made 14 appearances during the second half of last season to help Ross County avoid relegation from the Scottish Premiership.

Jebbison became the youngest player to score on their first Premier League start when he netted for the Blades against Everton in May.

Hughes returns to Burton having scored twice in 15 games during a previous loan spell last season before sustaining a knee injury.
