Harrogate stayed top of League Two as they twice hit back in a hard-fought encounter to deny Newport County.

Newport struck early on with Scot Bennett hitting the target from a corner.

Jack Muldoon replied with Luke Armstrong providing the headed assist.

After Robbie Willmott put the visitors in front for the second time, the hosts underlined their early-season form as Armstrong this time enjoyed the glory as he levelled from close range.
