Inverness Caledonian Thistle extended their lead at the top of the Scottish Championship to five points with victory at home to Greenock Morton.

Billy Mckay slotted a 20th-minute opener before Michael Gardyne fired in a second shortly after the interval.

Kilmarnock's draw away to Dunfermline Athletic means Billy Dodds' side move further clear at the summit.

Gus MacPherson's Morton remain ninth and are now without a league victory in seven games.
