Dagenham scored three goals in six second-half minutes to beat Southend 3-0 at Victoria Road and end a run of three straight National League defeats.
Both sides had chances in the first half but the hosts took the lead through Mo Sagaf in the 52nd minute.
A second followed soon after as Myles Weston's cross found the head of Sam Ling at the far post to nod home.
The Daggers added a third with another Ling header to climb into the top six and leave Southend in the bottom three.
