Hamilton Academical fought back to earn victory in the Highlands

Inverness Caledonian Thistle dropped to second in the Scottish Championship after Hamilton Academical came from behind to win in the Highlands.

All of the goals came in 17 second-half minutes, with Cameron Harper opening the scoring from close range.

Hamilton fought back and equalised through David Moyo's deft finish before Andrew Winter turned the game around.

The victory sees the visitors remain sixth, while Inverness are now below leaders Arbroath on goal difference.

Inverness Caledonian Thistle head coach Billy Dodds: "Hamilton really played well at times but, in the second half, I thought we were the better team for half an hour. We have got to tighten up. We could have won but lost it in 20 minutes."

Hamilton Academical head coach Stuart Taylor: "I'm really happy with how the players responded after losing the goal. We put so much pressure on them and we really upped our game then and we were relentless in how we played."
