Jason Cummings: Dundee striker disciplined for attending event without permission

Dundee striker Jason Cummings was sent home from training on Friday after being "completely unfit to train" his manager James McPake has revealed.
The 26-year-old attended a large-scale show in Glasgow on Thursday without permission amid rising Covid cases in Scotland and two days before Saturday's Scottish Premiership game with Hearts.
McPake described it as "unacceptable".
"He will be away from the club until Monday and then we'll deal with it internally," McPake told BBC Scotland.
"It's something I'm not going to go into, but there's enough social media and enough that I can't deny it either. People will make their own minds up why he's not involved [against Hearts], but it's not down to injury or Covid.
"People have choices to make, we're all human beings. Do I have to hold my hands up? Possibly, I signed Jason. He helped us get promoted, but what he did on Thursday is completely unacceptable."
Dundee are also awaiting the result of a PCR test for someone identified as a close contact of a positive Covid case.
McPake, whose side are 10th in the league, was already without the injured Charlie Adam, Lee Ashcroft, Shaun Byrne and Cillian Sheridan against Hearts but is keen to get Dundee's four games before the winter break played.
"You've got to be very vigilant, you've got to take care in every single thing you do - not be reckless, not do things that can put yourself at risk, can put your club at risk, can put your team-mates risk and can put your place on the pitch at risk," McPake told BBC Scotland.
"Nobody knows the answers to this. No-one's been through this. On the whole, Scottish football's rallied. Let's get to the break, if it's safe. As long as it's safe, it has to go on."
