- Published
Raith Rovers fell four points behind Scottish Championship leaders Arbroath after suffering defeat at Ayr United.
Tomi Adeloye capitalised on slack Raith defending to slot a first-half opener.
Mark McKenzie smashed in a 76th-minute second before Adeloye passed up the chance to add a third after having a penalty saved by Jamie MacDonald.
The win lifts Ayr up to seventh, while back-to-back defeats for Raith means they remain third in the table.
