Oldham Athletic's League Two fixture against Sutton United was postponed just under two hours before kick-off due to a waterlogged pitch.

The Latics apologised for the inconvenience, stating the postponement was due to weather including snow, ice and rain impacting the playing surface.

The referee held a pitch inspection at 13:10 GMT and called the game off.

The hosts, bottom of League Two, say tickets will remain valid for the match when it is rearranged.
