Paul Mullin's goal against Boreham Wood took his season's tally to 15 goals.

Wrexham secured a fifth successive win in the National League with an impressive display against Boreham Wood.

Ollie Palmer's header from Luke Young's corner gave Wrexham the lead but Scott Boden equalised against his former club.

Aaron Hayden and James Jones gave the hosts a two-goal advantage before Tyrone Marsh pulled a goal back.

But Paul Mullin's fourth goal in three games sealed Wrexham's win.

Phil Parkinson's side stay third in the table, six points behind leaders Stockport while Boreham Wood are fifth.

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson said:

"I thought we started well, got the goal and then we stopped playing for a period and let their type of game impose on us a little bit.

"But then second half I thought we played really well. The quality of our football was better and we were more positive in everything that we did.

"When we strung the passes together we looked a good team tonight and I'm obviously delighted with the four goals."
