Sunday's Africa Cup of Nations final between Senegal and Egypt will be shown live in the UK on the BBC.

The showdown at Olembe Stadium in Cameroon's capital Yaounde will see Liverpool forwards Sadio Mane (Senegal) and Mohamed Salah (Egypt) face off.

Senegal beat Burkina Faso 3-1 to reach the final, with Egypt beating hosts Cameroon 3-1 in a penalty shoot-out following a 0-0 draw to qualify.

The game is on BBC Three, BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website and app.

The day before the final, the two beaten semi-finalists will face each other in a third/fourth-place play-off.

Sunday's match will see Egypt aiming to extend their record for Afcon wins. A victory will see them claim an eighth title.

Senegal are still seeking a first Afcon triumph, having lost their two previous final appearances - to Cameroon in 2002 and Algeria in 2019.

The Lions of Teranga will start as favourites, having won their group before securing knockout wins over Cape Verde, Equatorial Guinea and Burkina Faso in normal time.

Egypt finished second in their group, with each of their games in the knockout rounds going beyond the 90 minutes - needing penalties to see off Ivory Coast and Cameroon, either side of an extra-time win over Morocco in the last eight.

Pharaohs coach Carlos Queiroz and his assistant Wael Gomaa will be absent from the touchline because they will be serving bans after receiving a red and yellow card respectively in the semi-final.
