Kyle Walker-Peters scored an extra-time winner as Southampton came from behind to beat Championship side Coventry in the FA Cup fourth round.
Walker-Peters flashed a low shot into the back of the net in the 112th minute to give Saints victory.
Viktor Gyokeres had opened the scoring for the Sky Blues following a neat one-two with Ben Sheaf.
But Stuart Armstrong equalised with a tremendous curling strike before Walker-Peters' tidy finish.
Martyn Waghorn thought he had sent the tie to penalties in the dying stages of extra time, but the visitors' celebrations were cut short by an offside flag.
Ralph Hasenhuttl made 10 changes to the Southampton team that held Premier League leaders Manchester City to a 1-1 draw almost a fortnight ago, and it showed early on as Coventry proved more than a match for their top-flight opponents.
The visitors went close to an early opener when Josh Eccles forced Willy Caballero into a smart save, before Gyokeres had a penalty appeal turned down following Lyanco's challenge.
Mark Robins' side deservedly broke the deadlock midway through the first half, when the impressive Gyokeres finished off a flowing team move with a confident strike past Caballero.
Saints boss Hasenhuttl showed his dissatisfaction at his side's first-half display by making a double half-time substitution, replacing Adam Armstrong and teenage debutant Thierry Small with Walker-Peters and Stuart Armstrong.
It proved to be a masterstroke from the Austrian, with Armstrong's sensational outside-of-the-boot finish restoring parity 18 minutes into the second half.
Walker-Peters looked to have clinched victory for the hosts near the end of a nervy extra 30 minutes, but Waghorn twice went close to forcing a shootout in the dying embers of the game.
The 32-year-old sent a diving header narrowly wide of the far post before firing home following a string of point-blank saves by Caballero.
However, the linesman ruled that Waghorn was in an offside position and the goal was chalked off.
