Kilmarnock missed the chance to go top of the Scottish Championship after being held to a goalless draw by struggling Dunfermline Athletic.

Victory would have taken Derek McInnes' side two clear, with Arbroath being held at Morton, but they stay second.

The closest either side came was an Efe Ambrose free kick, which cannoned off the bar for Dunfermline.

Stephen McGinn and Declan Glass efforts from distance were Kilmarnock's only real offering.
