Newport County and Mansfield Town have been fined by the Football Association (FA) after their draw at Rodney Parade on Saturday, 19 February.

The League Two clubs had been charged over a melee which saw Mansfield's John-Joe O'Toole sent off.

Mansfield have been fined £1,750 and Newport £1,250.

Both clubs admitted failing "to ensure their players conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and refrained from provocative behaviour," the FA said.

An independent regulatory commission imposed the fines.

The game ended 1-1, with a late penalty from Newport's Dom Telford cancelling out Josh Pask's own goal.
