Raith Rovers suffered a heavy home defeat as they were swept aide by Ayr United in the Scottish Championship at Stark's Park.

The comprehensive result sees Rovers' winless streak in the Championship extend to 11 matches.

Tomi Adeloye and a James Maxwell double gave Ayr a 3-0 half-time lead, before Sam Ashford completed the scoring.

Despite the scoreline and their poor form, Raith remain just a point outside the promotion play-off positions.
