Kerr McInroy's stunning 94rd-minute strike for Ayr United denied Hamilton Academical a third straight Scottish Championship win.

Hamilton looked set to maintain momentum in their play-off push thanks to Andy Winter's early opener.

But McInroy rifled into the top corner from distance with virtually the last kick to send the home fans wild.

Hamilton remain sixth, six points behind fourth-placed Partick Thistle having played a game more.

Ayr - now four games without a win - are five points clear of second-bottom Dunfermline and eight above Queen of the South, both of whom have a match in hand.
