Ayr United 2-2 Inverness Caledonian Thistle: Hosts fight back from two down to draw
- Published
Teenage striker Fraser Bryden scored his first goal for Ayr United as they clawed back a two-goal deficit to draw with Inverness Caledonian Thistle in the Scottish Championship.
The Highlanders controlled the early stages and went ahead when Billy Mckay teed up Shane Sutherland.
Logan Chalmers made it two with a wonderful curled finish.
But 17-year-old Bryden scored from eight yards before Markus Fjortoft headed in Kerr McInroy's free-kick.
It could be a vital point in the Honest Men's attempt to navigate away from relegation worries, as they are now three points clear of ninth-placed Dunfermline.
Caley Thistle were denied a fourth win in a row and remain third with a game in hand.
