Kilmarnock beat Dunfermline at Rugby Park to maintain their four-point lead at the top of the Scottish Championship.

Kyle Lafferty turned in Blair Alston's cross to give Derek McInnes' side a first-half lead.

Dunfermline goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk made a string of saves to keep the visitors in it.

But he was finally beaten by Oli Shaw when he got to Fraser Murray's delivery.

With Ayr drawing with Inverness, it leaves Dunfermline three points adrift in the relegation play-off spot, but still six ahead of bottom-club Queen of the South.
