Inverness Caledonian Thistle confirmed third spot in the Scottish Championship with a win over Greenock Morton - their fifth in seven games.

Roddy MacGregor's 20-yard strike broke the deadlock on 29 minutes, earning a deserved victory for Billy Dodds' side.

The Highlanders will end their league campaign at home to Hamilton Academical next weekend before entering the play-offs at the quarter-final stage.

Morton remain seventh in table but can still catch Hamilton in sixth.

Dougie Imrie's men go to Arbroath on the final day of the season.
