Harrogate Town have signed defender Joe Mattock following his release by Rotherham United.
The 32-year-old played 27 games last season to help the Millers win promotion to the Championship and the Papa John's Trophy.
"He's an absolute winner and we're delighted to have him at the club," boss Simon Weaver told Town's website., external
Harrogate have also signed Huddersfield duo Josh Austerfield and Jaheim Headley on loan for the 2022-23 season.
Midfielder Austerfield, 20, spent the second half of last season with the Sulphurites, making 11 appearances, while left-back Headley, also 20, has enjoyed loan spells with non-league clubs Bradford Park Avenue, Hyde United, Welling United and Yeovil Town.
Mattock, meanwhile, joins on a deal of undisclosed length after seven years in the Championship and League One at Rotherham, having previously played for West Bromwich Albion, Leicester City and Sheffield Wednesday.
"You can tell by meeting him and from everyone's feedback just how hungry a player he is," added Weaver.
"I played Harrogate last pre-season and they ran us off the park a little bit," Mattock said.
"It was a tough game, they played some good football and have got some quality players, a few of which I know. I'm looking forward to joining up with them and seeing what I can add to the group."
The trio join Stephen Dooley, Kyle Ferguson and Peter Jameson in signing for Harrogate this summer.
