Dipo Akinyemi completed Ayr's comeback win in the 92nd minute

Dipo Akinyemi scored twice as Ayr United recovered from two goals down to beat Queen's Park at Ochilview.

Simon Murray headed the hosts in front from Dom Thomas' corner and Thomas struck their second before half-time.

Akinyemi's shot in the opening minutes of the second period halved Ayr's deficit and captain Sean McGinty headed the visitors level.

And Akinyemi's added-time penalty secured Ayr a first Scottish Championship win of the season.

The spot-kick was awarded for a handball against Charlie Fox.

Ayr go top of the second tier - a point above Cove Rangers and Partick Thistle - with four more matches in the division taking place on Saturday.
