Newport County produced a devastating first-half display to secure an impressive win at Harrogate.

Omar Bogle put County ahead after four minutes from a tight angle before Kayne Ramsey's own goal doubled their lead.

Thierry Nevers finished off a fine move for his first County goal before Bogle scored his second a minute before the break.

Lewis Richards struck the crossbar with a long range effort for Harrogate late in the game.

But County comfortably maintained their lead to secure a second league win.

Newport County manager James Rowberry said:

"The most pleasing thing for me today is the clean sheet. I've been wanting it, we've been wanting it.

"Their second half performance, Harrogate, they were better but they've only had really one shot.

"For the lads I'm really pleased and for the travelling fans.
