Wrexham secured their fourth home win of the season with a resounding 4-1 victory over Dagenham & Redbridge.

Ollie Palmer met Anthony Ford's cross at the far post to give Wrexham a deserved lead and Paul Mullin doubled the lead on the stroke of half-time.

Although Dagenham were much improved after the break, second goals for both Mullin and Palmer sealed the win for Phil Parkinson's side.

Junior Morias scored a consolation goal for the visitors in stoppage time.

Wrexham remain second in the table while the Daggers, still seeking an away win, are 17th.

Wrexham manager Phil Parkinson said:

"I thought we were excellent tonight. I thought we played some terrific football - night games here are so enjoyable.

"It's always disappointing to concede but I don't want that to take away from how the lads played.

"I thought the lads were outstanding, I really did. It's a very good win for us."
