Luton Town 2-2 Coventry City: Winless Sky Blues earn second point in entertaining draw

Winless Coventry City earned their first point since the opening day of the season as they twice came from a goal down to draw 2-2 at Luton Town.
Carlton Morris impressively gave Luton a very early lead, but Viktor Gyokeres levelled soon after having missed two earlier chances.
But Morris put the hosts ahead again four minutes later while Dan Potts headed against the Coventry post in first-half stoppage time.
Gustavo Hamer's superb long-range effort drew Coventry level before the Sky Blues survived a late appeal for a penalty after Kyle McFadzean appeared to stop the ball with his hands.
The point sees Coventry - who have played three games fewer than their rivals due to their early season pitch issues - remain bottom of the Championship, while Luton move up to 18th place.
But for large parts of the game the visitors belied their lowly league position, and they should have been in front in the first minute as Gyokeres dragged an effort wide when through on goal.
Morris' powerful half-volley gave the Hatters the lead three minutes later after great work by Harry Cornick to get a cross in from the byline and soon after Ethan Horvath saved a Gyokeres header.
But the Swede's pace proved too much for Luton's defence in the 11th minute when he sped past Potts and calmly finished for his second goal of the season.
However, Cornick and Morris linked up again as the former's excellent pass put the latter clean through to slot past Ben Wilson for his fifth goal of the season, and were it not for a good save from Wilson, Potts would have headed in a third for Luton mid-way through the half.
Potts hit the outside of the post from James Bree's cross just before the break while soon after the restart, Coventry's Jamie Allen forced an excellent save from Horvath after superb build-up work by Gyokeres.
But the Sky Blues got the goal they deserved when Luton failed to clear and Dutch midfielder Hamer blasted in from 25 yards.
They could count themselves lucky to come away with a point though when McFadzean appeared to palm the ball clear on the edge of the six-yard box as he fell to the ground to block Jordan Clark's 82nd-minute shot.
Luton Town boss Nathan Jones:
"We should have had a pen at the end. It's madness, it's bonkers, it's just crazy how that isn't given. But realistically, second half, they could have won it, we could have won it. It was too open really.
"We had no control in the game. It stemmed from our back three not being dominant enough. All four centre-forwards looked a real handful, ours and theirs, to be fair.
"We couldn't really get on the front foot and really press, so that caused us a real issue, and every time we turned the ball over they looked a threat."
Coventry City manager Mark Robins told BBC CWR:
"The way they handled the game in general, and didn't go under, was a big plus and that's why I'm proud of them.
"We played well all game, apart from two moments where we gave them two goals, and then almost a goal at the end, because I've just seen it back and it looks like we got away with one.
"We've built pressure up on ourselves because of the circumstances we're in. This is game six - and five away from home, so it's a little bit false. But the results haven't been good enough. The performances have been OK, but we've just given away too many sloppy goals and we've got to cut those out.
