Hamilton Academical 0-2 Queen's Park: Visitors close gap on top two
- Published
Queen's Park beat Hamilton Accies to move to within a point of the Scottish Championship summit.
The home side dominated the first half, with Dario Zanatta hitting a post and Andy Winter denied by a fine save from Calum Ferrie.
However, it was the visitors who went ahead just before half-time through Simon Murray's close-range finish.
And they doubled their lead through Grant Savoury's fourth goal of the season.
With Partick Thistle drawing and Ayr losing, third-place Queen's Park were able to narrow the gap on the top two. Hamilton remain eight, but are now just two points above bottom side Arbroath.
