Chelsea winger Raheem Sterling was given a rating of just 3.39 by BBC Sport readers for his performance in England's defeat by Italy that saw them relegated in the Nations League.

Sterling was one of six players - along with Harry Maguire, Reece James, Kyle Walker, Bukayo Saka and substitute Luke Shaw - given a rating of less than four.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham was England's highest-rated player with 5.92, with Newcastle keeper Nick Pope the only other player to score higher than five.

Leeds striker Wilfried Gnonto won man of the match, with a rating of 6.95, despite only coming on in the 63rd minute.
