Ayr United 0-1 Inverness Caledonian Thistle: Visitors secure third straight win
- Published
Inverness Caley Thistle made it three Scottish Championship wins in a row to move level on points with third-placed opponents Ayr United.
Cameron Harper headed what proved to be the winner early in the second half to punish Ayr's profligacy.
The hosts had dominated, with Andy Murdoch firing narrowly wide and Mark McKenzie heading against the bar.
Ayr substitute Jayden Mitchell-Lawson curled inches past the post but Inverness stood firm.
Both sides trail leaders Partick Thistle by three points, but Ayr have now suffered back-to-back league defeats.
